Grand opening of The Dance Warehouse

Grand opening of The Dance Warehouse

After many months of preparation, and years of dreaming, together with approximately 80 friends, family and current and alumni dance students and their families, we celebrated the official opening of The Dance Warehouse at the Palm Shopping Centre, Wollongbar.

It was Easter Monday. We invited hip hop teacher James Deane from the Sydney Dance Company to share his extraordinary talent with our guests. James is a former Ballet Coaching student, and ran such a fun hip hop workshop.

London-based contemporary dancer and former Ballet Coaching student, Nina Lee, also ran a workshop for the opening event.

We dressed as fairies.

We ate cake.

We danced, we laughed and we cried.

But one of the most important parts of our celebration was to officially open the Cooper Cridland Studio.

We have named our main dance studio after Cooper, who was a much loved and very talented alumni Ballet Coaching student and devastatingly passed away on Christmas eve last year. His mother was there to help us open the studio. Cooper will live on in our memories and our dances…

Thank you to everyone who attended, and made The Dance Warehouse celebration such a memorable and happy occasion.
